Precision-milled aluminium housings and mounts for optical measurement systems.
We procure both simple and complex CNC-milled parts through our qualified manufacturing network. Because we're not tied to our own machine fleet, we select the technically and economically right manufacturing partner for each part — from classic 3-axis components to demanding 5-axis parts with complex contours, free-form surfaces, undercuts, or multiple machining sides.
We don't promise blanket extreme values for tolerances and part sizes — the values actually achievable depend on material, geometry, dimensions, manufacturing process, measuring method, and quantity.

From 3-axis components to complex 5-axis geometries — our network delivers milled parts with tight tolerances, clean contours, and accurate hole patterns. Upload your drawing and get expert advice.
Frequently Asked Questions
CNC milling is a machining process in which a computer-controlled rotating tool removes material from a workpiece to create the desired shape. The CNC system enables highly precise, repeatable machining — from simple flat surfaces to complex three-dimensional free-form shapes.
In 3-axis milling, the tool moves along three linear axes (X, Y, Z) — sufficient for many standard geometries. In 5-axis milling, two additional rotational axes are added, allowing parts with complex contours, undercuts, or multiple machined sides to be produced in a single setup — reducing repositioning and improving precision.
In principle, most industrially common materials can be milled — from aluminium and steel alloys to stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, technical plastics, and special materials such as hard metals or ceramics. Which material suits your part depends on the mechanical requirements, the operating environment, and the desired surface quality.
CNC milling suits single parts and prototypes as well as series production — unlike tool-bound processes, there's no economic minimum quantity, since no costly tooling or molds are required. At J&K, we handle inquiries starting from quantity 1, with particular strength in small and medium series.
Cost depends on several factors: part geometry, material, tolerance requirements, machining time, quantity, and any further processing required. A blanket price per part therefore can't be stated responsibly. Through our digital quoting system GP-Digit, based on your drawing, you'll typically receive a firm, binding quote within 24 hours.
Typically within 24 hours. Our digital quoting system GP-Digit enables fast quote processing — you send us your drawing data and any further relevant inquiry details, ideally via the request form on our website or by e-mail (info@jk-cnc-technik.de), and receive a feasibility assessment and a firm, binding quote by the next business day.
We orchestrate a network of carefully selected, highly specialized manufacturing partners in Germany and internationally. As your central procurement partner, our role spans the entire process: from manufacturing-oriented consulting through to the on-time delivery of high-quality engineered parts.
